« The property is beautiful and the inside looks nice but that’s where the positive ends. Upon arrival at 4:00 we could not enter because there was a cleaner there still cleaning. « This is a lovely cottage, beautiful views, great area. I do however have some things I wasn't happy with, mostly the beds. The beds were not comfortable, most of us did not sleep well. That to me is the whole point of renting a place to stay, is to sleep, if the beds aren't comfortable, I won't be coming back. Also, the place wasn't very clean. Every kitchen drawer and cupboard I opened definitely needed cleaning. The amount of dead bugs in the light fixtures was just gross to be honest. ...

« The 5 Acre Woods property was exactly as described and more. The property is very private due to the large lot and the many trees. Exactly what we were looking for. I loved that we could enjoy a wood fire both inside in the wood stove and outside in the fire pit. The inside has been updated and is very comfortable for a cooler rainy day if you don’t want to venture outside. But the outside is where the property really shines. « Stayed here for a few days starting on new year's day. Had some family over and eveyone was happy with the accommodations. Allowed us all to get together and enjoy some family time cooking, watching movies, and playing games together. »

« We were excited about our stay at Rice Lake! But the house had a few problems and it made our stay less enjoyable. The small A/C unit is located in the living room area and not in the bedrooms. So every night was hot, and unable to cool the rooms properly. Second problem was the washer failed on the 2nd day of our stay and the owners did not fix the problem. They sent out someone to tell us they're working on purchasing a new washer but this forced us to go to the another laundry. It also...

« The property location and facilities are all excellent for all age groups. We enjoyed our stay. Like most places, there were a few minor repairs to attend to but our list was received positively.
