"This historic property has been lovingly refurbished into a modern day inn. There are clean,shared bathrooms. The outside porch and sitting areas overlook the lake with fabulous views. The owner was friendly and made home made muffins for breakfast. My only complaint is the noise from the motocyclists during the evening."

"Inn keeper was so accommodating, gave us plenty of ideas for fun in the Lake Winnipesaukee area, The Ballard House has been featured in the Yankee Magazine, a lot of history. Beautiful back deck with outstanding view of mountains."

"The houses were very clean. We enjoyed it in general but there were a couple of issues. The beds were not comfortable. The toilet had two doors but one of them did not lock. We stayed two families and this was a big problem. They also didn’t provide separate towels for the pool."
