Overall my stay was fine. I knew for this price facilities would be basic and tired, but I would still expect it to be spotless. However, there was dust, soap scum around shower base etc. The walls are very thin, so conversations and television sounds can easily be heard from other rooms. Floorboards are also quite creaky. Great location for nearby walks and plenty of free parking.

Basic but pleasant room. Arrived late evening - reception reasonably helpful if a bit cold. Cig burn inside kettle - needs replacing. Lovely setting for hotel but property seems a little tired and dated. Good enough for the price.

Arrochar Hotel, definitely recommended.
The Arrochar Hotel is delightful. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a homely feel. I was surprised that several residents had dogs with them, so it's a dog friendly hotel. The lounge and bar area is cosy. One can choose to eat dinner in the lounge area near the bar, or in the dining room. Our room was spacious and had a lovely view over the lake. We really enjoyed our stay.
