"El apartamento es como las fotos, muy cómodo y la atención siempre fue rápida. Muy cerca a todo, vas caminando al centro cívico. Para mejorar, la mampara del baño se queda chica y se moja cada vez que te duchas. Cambio de toallas al menos cada 3 días. "

"Nice space. Not huge, but big enough to have bag on the floor. Heated floors are nice. Shower had plenty of hot water. Cafe downstairs is nice. Clean bed was comfy. "

"I really loved stayed in Alto Verde Hostería, mainly due to kindness of the personnel (propietarios). Very convenient to stay close to El Calafate downtown and two blocks from the Argentina’s Lake at the same time. Very close from good restaurants such La Lechuza. You can walk to Letras EL Calafate. Overall, great staying…!!!"

"Excellent value. Great service. The host (The owners son) could not be more helpful. Every recommendation he gave (restaurant or trip) was excellent. When we arrived we thought was a long way out of the centre but once we did the walk it was no distance at all. Would recommend and would stay there again if ever back in the area."

"El lugar bello la atención espectacular, el desayuno riquísimo..... en lo único que no pusimos hacer nada ni en administración ni yo es el cobro en dólares entendemos que este sitio hoteles.com es internacional pero el precio que yo pague es de $5600 por la noche y ustedes me cobran en dólares 65$$ que convertidos en pesos argentinos voy a terminar pagando muchísimo más "

"Unclear ďescription that there was only one bathroom for entire property. The guest rooms are cleaned only once every 4 days. The carpet was filthy! Breakfast was lousy: 2 pieces of cheap bread wrapped in plastic , a dry medioluna, and an apple. Undrinkable coffee with powered milk for creamer. Bathroom dirty with broken bidet. Bad smell in common areas. No receipt because establishment ran out of paper for credit card machine. Finally, all guest keys are identical and open all rooms! Stay...

"Our stay was comfortable and cozy. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location is somewhat removed from the center of town, requiring an uphill walk when returning to the B&B."

"No complaints or over praise. Easy check in, friendly staff, decent breakfast, they helped with calling a taxi to the bus station as well. Rooms and bathrooms are old and could use some care but they’re clean. Beds were comfortable as well. Great for the price."

"Communication was lacking No information came the day before as they said so not easy to be at the door and no information how to get in Hot water was not working in the bathroom sink and water adjustments in the shower and Bidet were very tricky Wifi was hit and miss it worked for only the first day No service so toilet paper was short and towels should have been changed we stayed three days and garbage piled up"

"Great location, staff, breakfast and the view from the breakfast area. Very convenient to walk to main attractions and restaurants. During our stay the toilet flush valve stuck and after reporting it, they come right away to fix it. "

"As a solo female hiker, I spent 3 nights at Hotel del Glaciar Libertador and felt like I got value for money as far as convenience and location. When I first got there, it was peak summer season and I was very worried at check in when the printout of hotel guests with reservations did not include my name.I had just flown over 40 hours from Malaysia and didn't have backup plans! Luckily the receptionist sorted me out, citing a system error between Expedia and the local hotel booking system (I hope they have resolved this!) and luckily there was a room available for me. I still give them 5 stars because they sorted it out quickly and I had all the convenience I needed. The buffet breakfast was a delivious toast and fruits every morning, simple but hearty. All my tour companies (Hielo y Aventura and Solo Patagonia) had no problem picking me up in the mornings because it's a very recognizable hotel in a central location. My room was very spacious and clean, and well equipped with the amenities I needed to relax after strenous hikes everyday. It's also walking distance (about 5-10 minutes) of the city center where all the shops and dining is. There is a convenient grocery store next door for simple snacks. Although this hotel has many backpackers (I think) I got a lot of privacy in my room and it was very safe and quiet for me."

Great stay!

"We had a great stat at Alma! The friendly service at the front desk and upstairs at the restaurant was especially nice. Its summer, and we are used to US air conditioning, so the staff was kind enough to bring us a fan to help us sleep at night. Breakfast was very nice, room was clean, bed comfortable. The views from the balcony were simply amazing!"
