Riccione’s famous open-air waterpark, Aquafan, is a favorite with visitors of all ages. Come for a quiet swim in one of the pools or test your bravery on the exhilarating rides. A day at Aquafan is filled with activities in and out of the water. Ride the enormous, terrifying and very fun Kamikaze water slide or have more thrills on the even higher Slides.
Climb into a rubber raft to enjoy the River Run side. For a different, but equally thrilling experience, head for one of the park’s tube slides. The Twist is a long slide with entangled twisting tubes, while the Speedriul is another tube slide offering ultra-fast excitement for daring visitors.
Bring along the kids to have fun at the Cartoon Network Beach, where staff are on hand to play games and supervise. Watch little ones delight in meeting the animals aboard the Noah’s Ark attraction or splashing in the safe and shallow Elephant Pool. The youngest visitors will have a fantastic time at the Antarctic Baby Beach, known for its big polar bear.
Head to the Wave Pool twice a day to participate in the staff-led Aquadance you’ll be invited to participate in a mass dance routine set to the latest chart hits. In the evening, walk to the Aquafan nightclub, where the musical fun continues. Performances are held throughout the summer.
Visit Aquafan during the warm period from June through August. It closes throughout the colder months. Buy your ticket for park access for 2 days. Kids and seniors have discounted prices. Season tickets are also available. The park is about a 5-minute drive southwest of Riccione.
