"Everything was good except the air didn't work like it should and the bed was not as comfortable as we would have hoped for but the hotel is very nice and up kept."

"I miss the former cozy ambiance. The lack of a lobby seating area is unfortunate. The noisy heating unit in our room was intrusive. Breakfast was good, with a great view from Flannel."

My only real gripe was the restaurants, all of them had a different close time listed online and when I called the restaurants the servers/hostesses whoever answered the phone were very rude and one of them hung up on me for just politely pointing out the times online were different from what they were telling me. "This property had many things that we liked: the room was beautiful with a fireplace; it was conveniently located near the recreation path; walkable distance to good restaurants; good breakfast in the morning; nice physical fitness options, including an indoor racquet court. "Two night winter get-away. The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to restaurants and bars. It's right on the lake and main Lake George strip. The main hotel is clean and the staff were excellent including the restaurant/bar staff. A few minor quibbles include adding some technology updates in the rooms including USB and/or outlets near the beds. The suites could also benefit from a second TV in the sitting area. The mountain view side actually overlooks the parking...
