"Brad’s place was the perfect get-away for us. The house was clean, comfortable including the beds, kitchen fully stocked and we all loved the dock right on the canal. My favorite memory is sipping my morning coffee in the rocking chair. While lounging there we were greeted by manatees, fish, and a lovely egret. Renting a boat made it possible for us to explore the area by water and our fav for dockside eating was Papa Joes. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub daily. One note about the listing. Perhaps it is to be interpreted, or we missed it in the listing, but the property is really two separate areas, each with their own bedrooms, baths, and living spaces. Each has its own entrance from the outside, not accessible to each other from the inside. So for families who have kids sleeping in bedrooms 3 and 4, this might be worth noting. Brad is extremely generous with his place and Tammy is a true gem as the manager. If we go back, wouldn’t hesitate to rent Brad’s place again. "

"Caloosa Cove resort in Islamorada was perfect! Lodging was perfect for 2. Pool and pool area was quite relaxing, yet refreshing. It was nice to have the waterfront beach also to relax, kayak or paddle board. Location in Islamorada is perfect. Being in the center of keys allowed us to venture both ways for sightseeing and restaurants. "

"Pool and pool deck just redone in the last year. Property was beautiful. Maintenance staff was around constantly keeping grounds clean. Pickleball court was nice. Ensure you receive the 1BR Suite. They had us in a studio at first. Staff was very responsive and switched us to the 1BR Suite shown in the listing. The suite was very comfortable and well appointed. "

"This vrbo has it all with spectacular views on your own private beach! We were a family of 8 who had plenty of room, comfy beds, stocked kitchens, lots of outdoor furniture, heated pool, and gorgeous views! You arrive to your own gated home with instant views of your private beach area, heated swimming pool, lots of lounge chairs and tables with chairs. You have a fire table next to the pool that offers an amazing place to sit with a drink and soak it all in. There are paddle boards, kayaks, pool floats and sand toys already there for your use along with a volleyball net on the beach. The downstairs apartment is separate from upstairs with it's own separate entrance. My husband and I did not mind because we were there with our adult children & grandkids and enjoyed our own area. It has a bedroom with king bed & bathroom, living room, kitchen, 2nd bathroom, and game tables such as Pacman, foosball, and air hockey. It has beautiful views of the beach and ocean. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms (one has a king bed and the other 2 have 2 beds), 2 bathrooms, large stocked kitchen, living room, and large dining area. It has a wonderful wrap around porch with comfy furniture & grill and offers those same gorgeous views of the ocean inside and out. My 1 piece of advice is to read about Sargassum (has nothing to do with the house or owner, but good to learn about) The owner, Ellen, is great at communication and quick to respond! The area is fun with great restaurants & activities! "

"We really enjoyed the house/property and the deep direct access. Would stay there again. We had to come back home during our stay for work but left our belongings there(including boat) and had no issues. Neighbors were all friendly."
