This elegant adobe home is tucked away in an atmosphere of peace and serenity, yet close to many Amarillo attractions you may want to visit. Traditional adobe decor meets modern upgrades with all the amenities to make your stay pleasurable. This charmer is perfect for a couple looking to getaway for the weekend, or any business person needing a good nights rest and space to work....all in a homelike setting.

Just blocks from I/40, this spacious home is in the heart of Amarillo's Sunset Terrace area. You will enjoy all the creature comforts one could wish for. Just a short drive to a wide variety of dining and shopping. Minutes from I-40 and I-27. Also, 6 minutes to Polk Street in downtown Amarillo. There you can find some great food and live music.
The house has some local history as well.....built by Cal Farley of Cal Farley's Boys Ranch and is also just minutes away from historic Route 66. There you will find some great little shops, food, and Smokey Joe's that has live music 7 days a week.

Freshly renovated with only your comfort in mind. The bedroom features a King Size bed with top of the line mattresses and linens, and a fold out sofa with comfy mattress and linens provided. Mimi has provided an assortment of firm and soft pillows, soft sheets, and comforters. Your good night's rest is especially important to us. We also have a baby bed available upon request.
The bathroom has all necessary linens, as well as, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. etc. Each room has a Smart TV, so you can log into your Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max...etc.

Newly refurbished throughout with beautifully restored original hardwood floors, new paint and texture and upgraded electrical and plumbing.
Mimi's Place also has a washer and dryer for your use. There is a small kitchenette with a 2 burner induction stove, as well as a fridge and microwave. We also have a coffee maker and coffee is provided, as well as some other small snacks.....everything you should need for a meal or quick snack as you're headed out the door.

Trip to Palo Duro
Our trip to Amarillo was to explore Palo Duro Canyon state Park. We decided to stay in town in Amarillo to do other site seeing. The house was very convenient to everything we wanted to do. Plus it is a pet friendly house as well. It was a great place to stay.

Great stay!
The residence was just as nice in person as it was in the listing. The it is very impressive and cozy. The finish-out is very well done and very comfortable. Great and roomy bathroom and closet. Kitchenette is small but was ample and well-stocked for our needs. It has everything one needs to cook a meal, which we did. The king bed is very comfortable and the room is big. The neighborhood is not what you expect but we felt very safe, especially with the well-lit drive way. A small table for two in the living room would be nice to dine from. We sat out on the back porch swing each morning with our coffee. We would be glad to stay here again.

Bad trip
They overbooked and asked to get out. Then tried to put us in another property but it I was in a bad neighborhood and the house looked bad from the outside. I would have been fine if they placed us in a place equal too what we rented.
