"The house is great for families and was dog-friendly. The lakefront location is terrific- very nice views. It is somewhat dated - it's a lake cabin so just knowing what to expect is good- has an oldish feel and yes, a bit of a damp feel, but very comfortable. The water is indeed an issue - very sulfur-y smell- a whole house water filter would help, but with a water filter and bottled water, it's fine. There is laundry but because of the water, can't do whites/lights. Great property manager and...

"Overall a nice place on the water. Beautiful view ! House is bright and open. Somewhat outdated and could use an update to furniture and appliances. Dishwasher wasn’t attached to the counter and just pulled away when I opened the door. Microwave over the range was non-functional. Needed extra blankets as the included nlankets were paper thin. "

"My family (4 families total) stayed for 3 nights while visiting our daughter at college. The house was fantastic. So much room for 4 adult couples and their kids to stay. And it was a quick 15 minute drive into town. The property manager was easy to communicate with as well. We plan to stay there again on our trips to the North Country."

What it didn't describe well enough was how fantastic the views of the lake were from the primary bedroom at sunrise. Michael was a wonderful host and we couldn't have had a better small family gathering at his place. He was kind, considerate and generous and a really interesting person. "We found the cabin to be all that we needed for our trip to North Hero. Our purpose was to visit our niece and her family who live in the area with our newest family member who was born in July. The location of the cabin and all its amenities was within walking distance to their home. The lake was beautiful and the scenic vistas in every direction were lovely. Sunrise to Sunset. Thank you! "This was our second time in this lovely lakeside vacation home, and we will definitely be back. Spacious , comfortable, well appointed living areas, stocked inside and out with everything you could possibly need.
