"We wanted for nothing in this property, everything was provided. It was in a huge, secluded garden, but the property was separate, and a long way from the main house, so we didn't feel enclosed in any way. We sat/ate outside a lot of the time, and felt that we were a long way from the main house. Samur-en-Auxois was everything we thought it was, and François Meunieur was extremely helpful. 10/10!"

"The tower was absolutely beautiful and very unique, the craftsmanship was phenomenal and it was a lovely place to stay for a night. "Secluded countryside location, excellent (and genuinely private) pool which was kept at a consistent and comfortable temperature - plus the cover meant it could be used in cooler or rainy weather. Our hosts were just the right balance of welcoming and helpful but not intrusive, once we were settled in we were left to our own devices which is just how we like it. "We spent a wonderful week here this summer with our two young children. The location of the cabin is excellent, with a descent super market in the village, petrol station, golf club and a few bars. There are many beautiful villages within 20 minutes drive with restaurants and bars. 10 mins drive is a lovely lake which we swam in as well as hired a kayak, perfect when the temperature was 30 degrees! Also there’s a climbing/forest activity which we spent the whole day at less than 10 minutes away...
