"Great service, excellent food and the drinks offering was exceptional. Best I've seen in any hotel. Breakfast was decent too. Spa and gym facilities were excellent, loads of equipment. I had an executive room which was the best on offer. It was tired, not particularly clean either. Loads of dust behind the TV and there were stains on the bed runner. The door handle of the bathroom opened directly on to the edge of the shower glass, stupid design floor. Someone unknowingly opens the bathroom door too hard and thats a disaster waiting to happen. Needs addressing urgently. Finally, the lighting in the car park is very poor. Extremely difficult to see where you're walking when moving from the gym back to the hotel. Aside from that, the stay was great. "

"I arrived after a rather heart-stopping journey through Storm Darragh. And as I was checking in the power went off. There were a few refugees from the storm and staff who couldn't get home after their shift. The kitchen was in darkness and powerless so no food available but the bar did stay open! The staff were cheerful and helpful finding a duvet to wrap up a chilly lady. True community spirit at it's best!"
