Cozy stylish apartment w/central air in Historical Highland Square

This space is a whole vibe! The unit includes a full stocked kitchen with updated appliances, breakfast nook with bar cart, and one bathroom also recently updated. Bedroom boasts a comfortable memory foam full mattress, mounted TV, and blackout curtains for privacy. The tandem* room attached to the bedroom promotes an open work space, hanging egg chair perfect for selfies or meditating and space to do yoga! In the living room, the memory foam queen pull-out sofa is available for extra guests.

*The tandem bedroom does have the space to sleep two extra guests with the air mattress. Please note, if people are staying in the bedroom and need to use the restroom in the middle of the night, they will have to walk through this room to get to the bathroom, kitchen, etc. It’s not total privacy but it is comfortable and spacious.

*As a gentle note, the space is not suitable for small children. There are many Airbnbs in the area close by that can support families with small children. Thank you so much for your understanding!

About The Neighborhood

Highland Square is known for being one of the more eclectic neighborhoods Akron has to offer. Home to many artists and musicians, the neighborhood is diverse, progressive, and known for being LBGTQIA+ zone.

Within walking distance of the apartment, you can find bars like Ray’s & Mr. Zubs or listen to live music at the Mustard Seed cafe. Take a walk across the street you’ll find the infamous Highland Square theatre. A beautiful historic theatre since 1938, enjoy a movie for $5 a ticket and a drink as they have a full bar inside. Right next to the theatre, you’ll find Square Records where you can buy an album to play at the Airbnb. Get your eyebrows threaded or your nails and hair done at Akron Brow Bar. Down the way you have nightclub Square, Annabell’s bar with comedy shows every Sunday. Stop by Angel Falls Coffee for a pastry and cortado. Mary Coyle’s has amazing ice cream and the tattoo shop has some pretty great artists.

Close to supermarkets Mustard Seed, Whole Foods, and Acme. Walgreens is conveniently located within walking distance if you forget or need to pickup anything.

House Rules

No smoking inside the apartment.
Smoking on the patio is allowed.
No pets.
In residential neighborhood and noise will need to be kept at a minimum starting at 10-11p.

An oasis within the city are Summit county metro parks. Only 10 minutes away but feels as if you’re in the country.
