"A nice, historic building with friendly staff and an impeccable location. The botanic gardens adjoining are a real treasure. The food was a letdown though - high tea service was slow, we had to ask to be served after 30 minutes (even to choose tea). The sandwiches were made on stale bread. Surprisingly poor since the Verandah restaurant is highly rated. Room was well laid out and practical."
