"This cottage is very comfortable and has a great layout. Its located on a quiet street in Seal Harbor where its easy to walk to the beach or park. Michael is a great host and very attentive to any needs that might arise. If you're going to be in town for Acadia, this is a perfect location. We'd definitely come back."

"Joseph and Christina's house is a quiet, clean, well-appointed house in a great location. It's on the quieter side of Mt. Desert Island (which was great for our family). Bass Harbor Head Light is right down the road (walking distance), and the lovely little town of Southwest Harbor is a short drive up the road. Bar Harbor and the big sights in Acadia NP are a just a short drive away. We loved our stay at Driftwood."

They have the place well decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable. Not to mention the Swedish spa next door!! We loved everything about this place and would stay again in a heartbeat."

"This property is convenient to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The kitchen was nice for our group to cook breakfast together. The house had lots of spaces to visit and plenty of seating both at the tables and in the common areas. Upstairs had no electrical outlets and smelled musty but we were able to work around the lack of electrical outlets and always travel with air freshener so it was okay."

"Overall the place was nice. We didn’t get a chance to kayak, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. The kitchen was well stocked and we made all our dinners there. The bathroom had some black mold on the ceiling, which was concerning. The directions could also have been more descriptive, we got there after dark and had trouble finding the place."

"The cottage is as the photos show. A spacious, nice place. It does have black ants upstairs and downstairs - they need to address that problem - saw some on counter in kitchen, so watch where you leave food items. The amenities were sufficient - but only conditioner was provided in the showers. Beds were comfortable. We couldn't use the cute screened-in porch because bright yellow pollen was everywhere. It needs to be deep cleaned - as well as the porch cushions. The location is close to...

"Perfect location close to shops, restaurants and the national park. Very clean and easy to access. Located above an amazing restaurant (colonel’s) which we frequented after long days of hiking/ exploring the park. On-site laundry was an added bonus. The kids loved the fresh pastries and the adults loved the coffee from colonel’s before long days at the NP. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thanks! "

"This property was amazing! Beautiful views, access to the ocean and away from the crowds. It was an easy 40 minute drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. My children and niece and nephew really enjoyed exploring the tide pools. The house itself is clean comfortable and well equipt. This was an awesome vacation!"

"This cute little house was just the right size for my husband and me. The neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing. However, the drawback of that is that it is at least a 30 minute drive to get to anywhere. Bar Harbor is an hour's drive (and we were not in peak season - it is probably longer if we had been). There were a few things to do closer, but you still had to drive as there are no shoulders on the road and consequently walking felt treacherous. This is not a criticism of the property - if...
