"The hotel is very dated and the rooms a little quirky. Our room in particular sloped in various directions the tv bureau sloped one way and the desk table another. Difficult when trying to make a coffee in the morning when the cup slides down the table. However an enjoyable stay."

"Overall lovely stay and hotel, after you book your advised about rooms and stairs, plus other stuff, which i feel should be upfront with booking. brilliant location to be walking distance from beach, town, bars and clubs but far enough to be away from the noise. "I really like this place , I stayed here a few years ago and the standard has remained high . It’s comfortable ,the staff are friendly and helpful and it’s really good value for money .Breakfast is excellent as is the food generally - had the best steak I’ve had in a long while for dinner . "

"A lovely old 'proper' village pub. Great service and food (just the right sized portions for dinner and breakfast as well. Room was initially warm (we were fine in January without the radiator on all weekend) and the mattress was very soft and bouncy (for us at least compared to what we are used to). "
