"We have stayed at the Stonewall Resort since it first opened. We appreciate the natural beauty and the friendliness and professionalism of their (shrinking) staff. In the past few visits we have noticed a significant decrease in the quality of the rooms and amenities. For the prices charged, they really must do something to update their rooms, particularly the bathrooms. We booked several rooms last weekend. "Overall, a newly renovated building with friendly service, but I was disappointed about some aspects of the renovation which was not professionally done. The vent/furnace was very loud when it was running, and there was some on and off noise at night coming from the upper floor, which sounded like wood floor cracks, or something behind the wall. I was surprised that a newly renovated building had those issues. Other than that, I was satisfied with our stay."

"This was a perfect property for our pet friendly stay. Well lit as I walked the property. Hospitable staff and clean rooms. Breakfast included consisting of Belgium waffle maker 6 toppings. Granola bars, three different juices. Hot, fresh and tasty coffee. Front desk even offered to make decaf if we wanted it for the evening. Location was close to everything. Highly recommend! Either side of this area is slim pickings for lodging."
