"I was worried after seeing recent reviews of this hotel, but since most of them weren’t on a site that verifies that the writer actually stayed here, I’m assuming there is a disgruntled former employee or something or the sort. Anyway! The property IS older. It has a few quirks. However, the lobby was spotless and inviting, the staff was kind and helpful, our room was clean, everything worked and we enjoyed our stay. The view leaves something to be desired but we were in town for hockey and had no need for a great view, otherwise we would have booked elsewhere. We used the airport shuttle and the driver was quick and courteous. Bottom line, if you need a clean, comfy place to stay for a couple nights, pick this hotel and ignore the dubious reviews. "

"Perfect location and great staff. Been going for years the cabana bar was closed from Hurricane. That was only minus of trip (to be expected i suppose). There was a walk up bar open and servers to bring to your chairs. I just like sitting at a bar (not much for laying in a chair). Great trip!"

"We stayed at RumFish last summer and loved it so we decided to try Island Grand next door for this visit. It was a nice option for our children’s spring break. The beach pool was entertaining every day. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. My girls loved having their hair braided, getting henna tattoos, and making shark tooth necklaces by the pool. "
