"We traveled to the area for some winter hiking on the nearby Appalachian Trail and luckily chose to stay at the Lake Chatuge Lodge. Very friendly and helpful staff, our room was large and comfortable, adequate breakfast, and a nice bonus for us; clean and economical laundry machines on our floor. Great nearby locally owned restaurants and retailers too. We originally booked 2 nights and ended up staying 2 additional nights. We will definitely return for our next North Georgia mountain hiking...

"Very nice hotel in excellent placement to downtown Helen. The property is in great condition, the breakfast is hot and offers eggs, bacon, biscuits, waffles, fruit, cereal, and muffins. Hot coffee and various juices. The city park is directly behind the hotel on the river. Beautiful area "

"This property was a bit higher in proce but it was clean with friendly staff. I appreciated the free coffee and tea available at all times. I also felt the location was perfect for exploring Helen. Most shops were within walking distance which was wonderful considering the parking lots were pay to park in town. "
