"My daughter and I spent one lovely night there. We purchased the spa for 2 hours which was lovely and clean and had showers and plenty of towels. The room was simple but clean and beautiful. The water and chips added a nice welcoming touch."

"För trångt rum när man dessutom hade betalat för dubbelrum, kunde knappt gå in på ena sidan dubbelsängen. Botten tycker vi. Sedan behöver man inte topprenovera men att kunna lägga ner lite kärlek på stället och lite myskänsla. Kala bord utan någon mysfaktor alls. Nä, det blir tyvärr ingen andra gång tror jag och det är synd för stället ligger så fint till och jag har länge velat åka till er och så blir det så här :( Mvh Anna "

Cosy hotel in the centre of Sundsvall

"The hotel is very centrally located and on-site public parking is available right in front of the hotel (incl. 4 overnight electric car charging spots). Our room was spacious, quiet and clean. It made a very cosy impression as it featured a huge tiled stove that must have been used once upon a time to heat the room. In general, the hotel has a very nice atmosphere because of it's old age. Still everything is up to current standards. The maybe only downside was the lack of surfaces in the bathroom to place toiletries and cosmetics. We had a relaxing night in the comfortable bed. The breakfast was pretty good. Quite good choices of food: cereals, rolls, cheese, cold cuts, warm sausages and meatballs, scrambled egg, jams, fruits. Coffee was very good. Also they provided a good choice of gluten and lactose free products. The maybe only improvement could be the choice of veggies: tomatoes, cucumber and bell pepper. It would be nice to add some salads or other in season veggies."
