"We stayed here during some torrential tropical storm weather but we had one of the incredible rooms at La Mer, which allowed us to sit outside of our room and enjoy the storm. Highly recommend La Mer! Absolutely adorable beautiful room. We noticed that they started bringing the beach loungers in and tying them up WELL before the storm so that was quite an inconvenience for some folks. "This was my 1st time at this property and I can’t say enough good things. Our room had a balcony facing the port so we got to see the cruise ships coming and going. We also were able to see every sunset without leaving our room. The property is very clean and well maintained. We had an excellent breakfast at the Hot Tin Roof restaurant overlooking the pool, ocean and Sun Set Key. We will definitely be back. "

"This is a very interesting property. We stayed in one of the bungalows though there are other types of rooms available. It is an old property, but recently refurbished/renovated. The room was small but well appointed and had a nice bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower. There is a nice full service outdoor bar adjacent to the kitchen area. "Everything was great except the payment machine leaving the parking garage didn't work for hotel guests using room keys. We had to pay full price to leave the parking garage. There were multiple cars backed up experiencing the same problem. Other than that, everything was very nice!"

" Very nice but paying for location, that is fine . Beach was very nice relaxing and clean property was clean . Weather gorgeous, room was loud we were on ground floor . Air conditioning was to cold when running but to warm when off but this is common . Overall very nice hotel !!"

"Stayed a week with family and an infant and had a great vacation! The property is really nice, the rooms are beautiful and spacious. It was surprising they charged us a per person charge so be mindful of that when booking this property. Amenities were great, we enjoyed the little ice cream bars that we received every night. The cleaning staff were also wonderful & efficient. Overall, highly recommend. "
