« This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Understated and tasteful elegance. Fantastic rooms with amazing balconies, world class beach, impeccable service, excellent grounds, fine dining at Manta, but also a beachfront casual bar/restaurant, and Copper Bar in between and our favorite. They have an Asian Art Collection worthy of a museum. This was out of our usual price range, a big splurge, and worth every penny. We are already trying to figure out how to swing it to go back next winter. »

« The property was really a home away from home: clean, spacious, quiet, well equipped. Checking in and out was super easy, help, if needed, a phone call away. Bikes, beach equipment, coolers available for use free of charge and stored in the garage. Overall seamless, very pleasant experience. »

« Personal doesn’t really care about the clients... their smiles are not true. A lot of facilities are « out of order » and I did not see anybody taking care about that. The SWIMMING pool is plenty of children and adults walking gently with glasses. Unless swimming between 7 & 8 am, no possibility to swim. There are nevertheless 3 swimming pools. »

« L’appartement que nous avons loue était très agréable, spacieux, comfortable, meublé avec goût. La cuisine est bien équipée. L’appartement est un peu en retrait de l’hôtel dans les résidences donc très calme mais à proximité de l’hôtel Westin, on y a accès à la plage et aux piscines et jacuzzi. Le personnel est très gentil. »

« I would definitely stay again. I had great communication. They had beach gear but the umbrella could be replaced. The pool was beautiful and the condo was clean and had everything we needed. Great location too. »

« I have stayed in the Waikoloa Beach area for years, but first time at The Shores. I was very pleased with the unit which had obviously been updated and was nicely decorated. It was appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay and then some. We enjoyed walking the beautiful grounds. Pool is lovely. The beds were comfortable, however the big pillows were very lumpy and difficult to sleep on. The carpet in the guest room could use a good cleaning, and we missed an indoor dining...

« Average condominium, tastefully decorated but old furniture. Hand towels in guest bath looked like they were 20 years old. Well equipped kitchen. Washing machine smelled of mold so bad we couldn't use it. There is no air-conditioning in the second bedroom and they provide a portable fan instead. August in Hawaii that was not acceptable. Floors had not been swept or cleaned when we arrived, there was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor. »
