"Inside the hotel provided a nice Victorian feel. However, outside the hotel there is a lot of homelessness around the entire downtown area (not just limited to this hotel). As long as you are aware of this, it's a great place to stay. We still walked around outside the hotel as there are many places to eat nearby, within walking distance. "

"The DoubleTree is much larger than I expected. The lobby and restaurants are spacious, and laid out well. My room was also much larger than expected. I especially liked the walk-through bathroom and the ample drawer space. I was actually expecting an economy hotel when I booked, but the DoubleTree, while priced economically, is a good deal more than that. I will definitely stay there again. It's in a convenient area. "The Dossier was great! Only thing I didnt realize beforehand was parking. We either had to use their valet services to park for additional fees or park at a structure nearby for a fee. But overall a great safe and really clean room!"
