"I loved the age of the building, dating in parts from 1470, and fitting in with the historical architecture and atmosphere of Bruges. My spacious room overlooked the canal, which was a treat. The hotel is a short walk from the city centre and a perfect base for exploration on foot. The breakfast buffet selection is excellent. All the staff members I met were extremely helpful and friendly."

"Fabulous location. Tight spot for parking but good to be able to book ahead. Room was tiny for a superior double. Hard to get around the bed with luggage for two but we weren’t in the room except for sleeping. Breakfast choice good but hot options not hot - Luke warm at best, often just cold. Reception staff very helpful. "

"Service and facilities can't be faulted. It was excellent and made my stay enjoyable. Besides the excellent service, it is affordable and well situated, being 10 minutes or so walk from most of the important sights and restaurants. The rail station is also a 15-20min walk away, while a bus stop/interchange is 5 minutes walk away. "Had a wonderful stay. Room was ready early and it was very large with many traditional features. Bed was very comfy and ample supplies when the room was remade. Staff were great and very accommodating and there is luggage storage letting you make the most of any time before you leave It’s on the canal at Jan Van Aik square, away from the busier streets but only 5 mins from the main square. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a great breakfast spot @Toastie nearby "

"This hotel was close to the Christmas market. Very comfortable and just gorgeous. Breakfast was good. I loved it! Only thing was the hotel was so hot for me. Tried to turn off my heat in room but had to open windows to sleep comfortably. Some staff was very friendly but others not so much. But overall I would come back here again. "
