"Downtown Seattle, like many large cities, is pretty dirty and has a large homeless population. However, the hotel itself and the access to other dining options were amazing. The drain in our shower was jot draining properly. We used the shower only twice and the first worked well, but the second time it would not drain fully."

"Property was great, and honestly the lavish treatment in the bathroom is note worthy more than the rest of the room. Great fixtures, walkin stand-in shower (wishing it had a bench tho) separated toilet area with door and the ceiling fed deep luxury bath are enough to say hey now . Only problems we encountered was the room service (albeit 24/7 with limits after 11), the menu, pricey, is somewhat limited due to being anchored to a Seattle / Seafarers style restaurant. "Surprisingly good for the price. We had an outstanding view over the water, the hotel has an excellent breakfast and utilises local bakeries, fresh fruit is on offer and decent barista made espresso coffee is noteworthy. The lobby is very cool with funky furnishings and very comfy lounge area for chilling - we utilised this as the rooms are small. Block out blinds are AMAZING, bed comfy with great pillows. Staff are exceptional and sincere. Self check in / out is good and the iPad controls for...

"We loved out stay at the Hyatt At Olive 8. It was extremely close to Paramount Theatre. The staff are very friendly and the room was great! Thanks (we did not park there)"
