"So we stayed at this property in February 2025. Back in September there was a huge hurricane that came through and did a lot of damage. I just wanna make that statement. My husband and I really liked staying here. It was a great location to the beach and to food and activities. However, this property is very out of date, but the out of date did not hinder our stay. The beds were super comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and there was a slightly out of date kitchenette. they’re only a couple...

"We just love Tradewinds & will be going back every year around this time because the staff and kids activities are a 10/10. The zip line is unfortunately down from the hurricane but they have all pools and hot tubs running, they have the slide up, as well as a hair braider, henna tattoos, little shows for the kids, peddle boats, etc. LOVE TRADEWINDS. Rumfish & The Island Grand!"

"Everything about the property was wonderful EXCEPT for the fact that they had a nightstand lamp with no outlet to connect it into! Strange…otherwise a comfortable stay. "

"Had such a great 4 days at Winter the Dolphin! Was drawn in by the affordability of the property, and once we arrived I felt so great about the choice I had made. Nice hotel bar and restaurant which also serves hotel guests on the beach or by the pool! Private section of beach for hotel guests only. Great views. Nice little balcony on the partial ocean-view room I chose. There are so many restaurants, bars, liquor stores, markets, and shops to walk to from the hotel "

"My room appeared to be freashly renovated. Very clean. Relaxing. No beach at hotel was the only downside. Had a wonderful experience. "

"1 night stopover for a cruise the next day. Nice hotel. Good service. A tad outdated but clean. Really close to the River walk which was beautiful. Convenient and friendly shuttle to the cruise port. The only downside is it is a big busy hotel that had 3 elevators. 1 wasn’t working the whole time. And a 2nd elevator was shut down the morning of checkout. But overall a very pleasant stay "

"I loved how quiet our stay was. The only issue I had was returning back from our dinner by 11:25, but they had closed the valet after advising 12am. Also, the room was a little dusty over the bed, but it was a decent hotel in Tampa."
