"The hospitality and arrival welcome was very pleasing and sincere. Awesome place and close to surrounding events. Loved feeding the local deer, sun rises and sunsets beautiful. The stars at nite are so bright. Great nature trail and viewing of Mexican bats in the seasonal evenings within 10 minutes. We will be back when in the area."

"The Ranch House is gorgeous! Exceptionally clean and owners are thoughtful of everything down to the pastries for breakfast, quality toiletries, and Christmas decor. You’re out in the country but only about 15 minutes from Fredericksburg. Well worth the drive! We will definitely be back!"

"Renters beware - Property is managed by Cozi vacation rentals which you can find numerous reviews if you search for Cozi Vacation rentals. They have an additional contract which requires a damage waiver fee and requires full indemnification of cozi and the owners of the rental. This is not disclosed at time of booking and infringes upon rights of the renter. They violate the ADA act by mandating you dislclose any physical or mental disability to them upon signing their rental agreement. We...

" Ice place with most of the basic amenities--cups in the bathroom would have been nice along with tissues. Clean and comfortable. Tall comfortable bed but hard to get into. Soaking tub but no water pressure--45 minutes to fill in the tub. Impossible to shower--trickled out. Hot tub was nice. Thanks for the coffee but cream is also handy. 7 miles from town. Close to the wineries. Terrible curb appeal. Overall pleasant experience but won't go back. "

"We did not have hot water at this property. I contacted the rental company, Cozi vacations once an hour for several hours and they never came to resolve the issue. We ended up having to leave the next morning since there was still not hot water. They promised to refund me $150 for my trouble and still have not done that. I call them every day and am given the run around every time. Highly suggest not staying at this property or checking that they have hot water before you go."
