"The best compliment t that I can pay is that Doug and Kim made it feel like I was staying with friends. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and to make things available that would make my stay enjoyable. The rooms are stunning as is the view. I visited the local winery, did a cranberry plunge, went kayaking on the moon river right in front of the inn - they supplied the kayak at no cost. The town is delightful and steps away from the In. So you can take a walk and enjoy the...

"I was pleasantly surprised. Did not expect much from the last-minute long weekend booking. This is a family business. Owners are doing all they can to make the stay pleasant for their guests. The room was nice clean and comfortable. Slightly dated to be fair. The biggest pleasure was the quality of the food in the restaurant. We chose to have dinner there for two nights. Located 10 minutes away from everything in the area. "

Clevelands House Resort Muskoka
3.5 star property
6.4 out of 10, (30)
"Cleveland House has a beautiful property with an incredible location on Lake Rosseau. Mature trees, and many buildings with character. That being said, I’d never stay here again. Regardless of some minimal upgrades, the place looks as though it hasn’t changed since the 60s. Happy upon arrival, things quickly changed when we arrived at our building to locate our room. We were greeted by loud shouting and kids running up and down the halls. Apparently a junior hockey team was staying here, and the...

Lakefront Cottage Amazing View
3.0 star property
6.4 out of 10, (5)
"The cottage itself was quite adequate. Clean but minimal. Comfortable beds. Its not really possible to swim by the cottage. there's a fair bit of boat traffic and the water is shallow with a lot of rocks and obstacles. You have to swim off the dock. I also messaged several times with various questions before our trip with no response. And when we arrived the internet wasn't working and they didn't get it fixed until the second day. The staff did their best and were quite pleasant, but it was not...

"We 4 ppl booked there for 2Ns, but left there in the middle after the first night! Drawbacks: -Low shower water pressure -only 5mins hot water and then it's an absolute cold! (maybe their HW Tank is small) -They add a hidden 'Property Fee' ($150) right before the Check-out at the site when booking! -They add $25 per person over 2 guests PER NIGHT! While they didn't mention it at all! -Our Cabin view to the beautiful lake was through a 2'x2' small window! You need to stay out of the Cabin to...
