« A beautiful stay right on the water, this hotel is a fantastic gem! Located just a mile or so north of Sturgeon Bay, most restaurants will deliver, so you're not that far out of the way that it's inconvenient. Suites come with a full kitchen, so bringing groceries for a weekend is a great way to feel a sense of hone away from home. I highly recommend! »

« We really enjoyed our stay. Very dated, bare-bones lodging but the staff was friendly. Free breakfast included a made-to-order omelette station. The restaurant was lively on Friday and the food was fresh and cocktails nicely made. It was an older, chill crowd overall that was staying there during our visit. »

« Garden Gate B&B is located near the actual Sturgeon Bay, which cuts across most of Door County from Green Bay . There is a shipyard directly across the street, but it isn't intrusive. Whistles at the start and end of the shift , that's about it. While the immediate area is unremarkable, the place is close to downtown in one direction and a lovely park on the bay in the other. « Mouse infestation, dirty sheets, and hair covered floors did not make for a good stay. We saw three mice Saturday night. Our bag had to be kept in our garage upon return to ensure the problem didn’t spread to our house. »
