« Beautiful lodge in a beautiful, quiet setting, with attentive,friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent. The restaurant cozy, romantic atmosphere with a nice view of the mountains. Only issue was upstairs lodge room was hot, one of the windows didn’t work and made sleeping uncomfortable. I’d stayed there before in a cottage which was much better without the temperature issues, so I’d stay there again, but choose a cottage instead of a lodge room. « The onsite staff were so pleasant and personable. Took the time to have conversations with us and how they could help us in any way during our stay. Breakfast was great!! Rooms were clean. « I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. « We really enjoyed our stay, the location was great and the cabin was comfortable, however the carpet in the bedrooms is pretty dated and stained. And the floor in the kitchen was sticky. All in all we enjoyed our stay and realize the difficulty of maintenance with multiple guest, so a different floor type could be considered besides carpet. »
