"Staff was great! Due to the planned renovation of the hotel there was no house keeping services provided and breakfast offering were very limited. The location was great and I am sure that once the renovation is completed it will be a great place to stay.. I would definitly stay there again after completion of renovations. "

"This property is breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms were cute and comfortable, bathrooms could use an update though. But we really loved having a view right out our front door of the coast."

"It's a very nice resort. We stayed in a cottage with water view. It was nice but not upgraded at all. Only major problem was we could hear our wall sharing neighbors. Every time they used their microwave we could hear it beep and the door open and close. We did enjoy our stay!"

"Beautiful inn! Very comfortable and clean. The innkeepers Amy and Mark were super nice. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back! "

"Loved staying at Spinneys, got to partake in the cedar sauna and staff was accommodating to an early check in. Next morning we were able to wake up and watch seals play in the water right out front, along with a beautiful sunrise. Will be back!"

"A gorgeous property with a lovely old-school resort feel. We thought we were stepping back through time in the main lodge. The setting is beautiful as well and offers plenty of nice walks around the shore and property. "

"The walls in the Lodge were thin. I could others conversations. Would enjoy this place much more in summer with pool. "

"The inn keepers were very very nice and accommodating. Nice old historic bed and breakfast right in downtown Boothbay. Everything about this stay was excellent. "

"Last minute find for us to spend the night. The breakfast was wonderful. Beautiful view of the harbor. Enjoyed sitting in the chairs down on the dock in the morning."

"The place was infested with bugs crawling on the walls and floors. The bedsheets had dead bugs on them when the top covers were removed. Bedsheets also had stains on them. There were no fans or a/c. We bought fans and left them there. The kitchen had some kind of fungus growing in it. All the ceilings had webs with spiders in it. Floors were not washed. All outdoor furniture were covered in mold. Would not recommend this place. "

"The cottage is nice, and the owners have upgraded the patio furniture, the grill, etc. The location is fantastic, and the view is amazing. Less amazing is the spotty wireless (not enough to work on Zoom all day), and the rat that paid a visit in the bedroom on the last night. "
