"It was great and the view we where so close to the beach. Walking distance and safe. Plus the pool was warm even though it was cold outside. Parking was great since I did not Want to go look for public parking the staff was so attentive and very nice. "

"Th receptionist that received us gave us excellent customer service, but the lady that was handing out the breakfast had an attitude. The only thing why I gave an overall rate of 4 is because the sheets made us itchy but other than that it was a great place to stay. I would stay here and I would recommend it to others. "

"Despite the current renovation effort, the hotel stay was still clean, quiet and the service - efficient. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. I wish we could have stayed longer - love the area and the proximity to the Marina"

"We booked this hotel while travelling with our teenagers for a funeral in SanDiego. We loved that our suite had plenty of space for everyone, and a big balcony. The resort was beautiful and well kept. There was entertainment at the pool with the ‘dive in movie nights’, great food with fantastic service at the Firefly and friendly staff at the front desk. We were extremely happy with our stay here, would definitely stay again!"

"Very nice place to stay. Room was good size and clean. Only drawbacks were mattress slightly uncomfortable and water temperature not very hot. I also was not aware of $25 resort fee and $20 parking fee. Still a good deal for the price and location. "

"Very warm and welcoming history-laden hotel with many unique offerings. The condition of my room and the common areas was excellent, both from a cleanliness and appointments perspective. Some of the carpets and woodwork in the hallways and elevator are in need of a little TLC, but it's understandable in a post-COVID world with an independent hotel that's probably faced a number of financial challenges. The staff was friendly and check-in was fast and pleasant."
