"Enjoyed our short stay here. The kids loved the hot tub on the deck--a treat during a winter stay. The property has lots of space and plenty of beds. The sauna is a great feature. "My 3 children (ages 7,9 & 1) and myself met our friends (adult & children ages 6, 9) halfway between each others homes in NC and Pittsburgh, PA. I found this listing and thought the kids would enjoy visiting such a beautiful, old cabin for a new experience. The cabin was warm and cozy with so much character, we spent plenty of time enjoying and discussing the art on the walls and the artifacts on the shelves. The beds were clean and comfortable. "We had a great time as a family! The outdoor space was great for the kids. The location is close enough to multiple towns and things to do. Everything inside the house was exactly what we needed with many added touches that were special - smores supplies, for example. The only issue we had was trying to stream anything on the TVs...internet kept cutting out. Not a big deal because we weren't there to watch TV, but something to note. "
