It was so nice getting in and finding the fireplace ready, which provided a very inviting and welcoming environment. My only complaint is that it was not as clean as I expected. I moved a chair next to the bed to find the lamp switch and found lots of dust and spiderwebs there; the window blinds were also dusty, and the tub had dirt/hair residues. "We loved our stay at Sunset Cottage. Beautiful views of the lake. The house was well stocked and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub looking out at the lake. Great location for wine tastings if you don't mind a bit of a drive other than the 3 fairly close by. We would definitely book again."

"We just returned from an amazing post-Christmas getaway with another family. The house was just as described - so inviting, tastefully decorated, and well appointed. The beds were so comfortable, too! You can’t beat the view or location, as it’s directly on the lake and less than 5 minutes to about 10 wineries and breweries. Will absolutely be back!"

"We were lucky to have incredible weather for October and enjoyed the area immensely (Penn Yan, Geneva, Watkins Glen). The property was ideally located, very clean, quiet.
