"We love this spot! Yes, it’s an older building with history and the rooms are small, but it’s a great stay! Close to the mountain, always clean and the rooms don’t smell weird like some. The shower stall is small but water is hot! We have stayed in a few rooms and the mattresses are very hard but maybe we are just used to softer ones. You have your own thermostat and it’s not those wall units. The restaurant/bar downstairs is great. The beer is great and so is their pizza. Friendly staff also!...

Check-in was super easy, and the owner was friendly and polite. We had a king sized bed, which we found very comfortable. "Good communication prior to stay. Waited for about 12 minutes for someone to come give us our key and show our room on arrival. No temp control in room didn’t bother us though.
