"This is a botique type hotel. It is very old and has some interesting quirks that make it fun. It was remolded in the past, maybe 10 or 15 years ago and has not been maintained well. I expect a better facility from Hilton, lots of marked up walls, chopped paint, tear on the couch in our room, etc. Lots of brass trim on the furniture in out room that is more green than gold, looked bad. "Everyone was very nice and easy to work with. The room was perfectly clean and the beds were comfortable. I was with my sister and we both felt safe in the hotel and parking garage, as it was well-lit. I would definitely go back."

"Staff was very kind, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and breakfast was good. It was easy to schedule transportation to the airport. I would return if I find myself flying through KC again."

"This is our favorite place to stay in KC. Right on the Plaza close to so much shopping and dining. We wanted to stay the weekend but a ferocious winter storm made us leave a day early. We are hoping Expedia will give us a credit."

"I was visiting with my daughter and unfortunately I had to listen to what was a live porno show for HOURS in the middle of the night. I never would have imagined the walls were that thin! When they would take breaks the piping was so loud with the flush of a toilet or shower and then the couple was back at it. I travel very often and this was a first ever and awkward experience for me and my daughter. "
