« Good: The Oasis is a lovely property, beautiful pool area. Breakfast was great, girl serving it was super sweet. Rooms are simple but spacious and clean. Less than great: 1) I personally would not stay here due to it being a good 15 min walk in blistering sun to get to main town area. You can rent a scooter, but parking in town is not always easy. It was also raining a lot when we were there. It would be better to stay walking distance from the action unless you want complete...

« The room is functional and clean. The pool is great. I refresh in it twice a day. If you go scuba-diving (40 $ for instruction and a 40 minutes swim; for a first time, that was good enough for me), you will love the pool for getting the salt off you. Plenty of restaurants around. Sundown by the beach is beautiful. »

« an absolute disgrace! the only positive is the location, but the building is dilapidated, cramped with an unbearable stench of damp! The room, without window, with an inside bathroom that smelled of sewage, immediately became muggy and as soon as the air conditioned was turned on, the air inside the room became even more putrid. »

« Great hostel, staff is really nice. They have a shuttle from the bus station/beach, but they don't run late so if you are going out, it takes 20min to walk back. Everything was clean. I highly recommend this place. They also offer activities/tours but you can find cheaper option along the beach. »
