"Had a 1 night stay here whilst working away. Lovely little hotel with friendly staff. Good food & drink options & being on the NC500 route a good atmosphere around the pub with others visitors also interacting with eachother. Would recomend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay around that area."

"Cheap and cheerful. Did the job for an inexpensive overnight stay near Inverness. Clean. Instructions easy to follow to gain access to room. Nice and quiet. "

"Easy check in via the bar. Good kitchen and lounge area. Bedrooms good for sleeping. Only slight negative was grubby kitchen, but as only there for one night not too much of an issue."

"Nice clean pub rooms. Small but secure with refurbed bathrooms. Warm and quite comfortable. A pretty standard double bed but still sleep worthy. Staff were very helpful and happy to assist. No lifts as stated but we were able to leave most of our luggage in the car. Dinner is limited as the cook called in sick but there’s a few budget options nearby. Just avoid the kebabs. Great location to visit the Fyrish monument. Value for money this stay. "

"I was a bit nervous in the days leading up to this stay knowing that it is a hotel without a traditional check in desk (not because I am against this, just if there are issues it could be difficult), and others have had difficulty locating the building. "This is a great wee place to stay if you are stopping off or looking for some cheap and quick. The staff were amazing and super helpful. And offer use of the kitchen if I wanted to make some food. Honestly amazing! Also offered to make up a wee bag for breakfast as I was leaving early! I managed to get something before I left. "The property is in a great central location...easy access to just about anything. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was very clean. A couple challenges for us...not sure there is anything that can be done but want you to know...the floors in the main bedroom are old (beautiful) wood floors that SQUEAK terribly.
