"Unhelpfully cancelled on the day we were meant to arrive. I didn't know the area at all as I had never been there and asked for suggestions for else where to stay and didn't even get a reply. She said there was water damage that needed to be fixed, maybe, but could have at least given some ideas on where else to stay."

"The Shaka Studio was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the privacy and location of this lodging, since it was close to many places on our "must see" list, such as Waimea Valley. Micah answered our texts and phone calls whenever help was needed, so we would definitely stay here again if looking for a place to crash around NE Oahu. Mahalo for having us!"

"The house is lovely. They have supplied the home with many things that a person might need, beach towels, coffee, dishes, etc. The neighborhood is nice. The house is about an hour drive from Waikiki. So we were out of the hustle and bustle but close enough that we could visit places like Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, etc. Our only drawback was we picked this location because they have a pool and hot tub in the community. "The house was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The immediate neighborhood was gated and secure, but the surrounding town of Waianae was sketchy with a lot of homeless camps. We had to drive over a half hour to get to grocery stores, restaurants, and points of interest. The mountains in the area were astounding, especially the one in our back yard!"
