"I would recommend the Hotel Hostal Caps Mall. PROS: 1. Located in a mall. This makes the hotel very safe and convenient. The mall has a gym, food court (McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, a few steak houses, etc), Oxxo, Exito, movie theater, ATMs, casino, bar, etc. 2. Quiet (which is rare in Bogota) since it is located inside a mall on the 3rd floor. No road or party noise coming from the street. 3. "This is a nightmare hotel. They dont have confortable mattreses, no hot water in the mornings, towels literaly ripped and stained. The staff are a gang of rude venezuelan people. You have just 10 min to take the breakfast, because they dont have enough tables for all guest. You better pay a little bit more and you get something confortable for your stay."

"The day shift receptionist said there were no Colombian pesos to convert my dollars, yet the afternoon receptionist said there was plenty. I asked for a towel because the maid did not return my large bath towel. The day shift receptionist gave me a small towel instead. "Well, I spent 2 nights. 1- bed was horrible. It was like sleeping in a sofa-bed type of mattress, thin. 2- Hot water wasn’t constant… 3- No AC, even tho it was a 18th floor… the only ventilation was if you open the windows (2 small ones) which was okay at night but you can hear all the noise and honking noise all night and morning 4- The toilet was clogged and there was no overnight service to attend the situation. Would I stay there again? No"

"I've stayed at this property multiple times and it's been good-great reach trip to Bogota. However this trip there is a noticable drop in the hotel standards. Usually they would not allow someone to have their television in high volumes. But for the past 2 hours(630pm) today 4/26/2024 this had been the case. So now aside from the clubs you have loud guests. If you're looking for a quiet night this is not the place. Staff is amazing, great Wifi coverage and safe. Just noise levels are not...

"This property is all it's said to be. It's a Hostal/Hostel that serves the local population as well as travelers. The beds are comfortable and the common areas are good.
