"The hotel was ok, the staff was friendly, but the town of Johnson City was not welcoming to visitors. We went to a local bar in town and they would not serve us. All of the residential streets were blocked with residents only signs. I will not be returning to Johnson City EVER. If i were you, find somewhere else to go."

"We loved the house and the property. There were two problems however. First, the property right next door they were building a brand new house and all day long all we heard was hammering sawing workers yelling at each other and Hispanic music blaring from 8:00am until 6:00pm every day. We could not sleep in past 8:00. Secondly the little Island area/boat dock was lovely but the local geese loved it also and used it as their outhouse, so it smelled terrible down there. "We stayed the first week of November with 2 other close families. 6 kids total aged 2-7 and 8 adults whom all enjoyed this home! The owner has gone out of his way to think of everything, from the plastic dishes for the kids to plenty of condiments for cooking and toiletries to accommodate our stay. There were 2 kayaks and paddle boards (plenty of life jackets) which were easily accessible and used daily.
