« Loved the little town of blowing rock we stayed inn. Mountainaire inn pretty room was good for 2 people. Only thing is we wish we had a fridge n microwave Loved being able to walk around town to eat, look around and shopping. Also had a great bike ride up in Boone. »

« I had rented a premium room and when i called the hotel to let them know i was going to be late getting there i was told they would leave the key in the room and leave the room unlocked and then gave me the room number. This was fine with me. Well i then received a call saying that the room they gave me was wrong and that they would have to change it, do to the fact someone was sleeping in it. They had no more premium rooms and would have to downgrade me. And they had no upgrades to give me....

« This is one of the most charming inns! Yes, it's a bit old and the room a little small, but it's clean and super bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies being able to open the windows instead of having to endure the noise of the air conditioner like in all places. The front desk staff was very nice and called within a few hours of our arrival to make sure we liked our room and were comfortable. We will absolutely return here! « I stayed at the Pineola for 4 nights for work. It was very clean and comfortable. The property was pretty and I would love to try one of the cabins sometime. It was convenient to not have to check in, since the property just provides an access code to get into your room, but I sometimes had trouble getting the door to lock appropriately. I didn't see or interact with any staff, but found the room to be clean every time I returned in the evening and when I let them know about my trouble...

The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the hotel was in a great location near wonderful restaurants and shops, and our room was clean and felt safe. « The heater/ac did not work. Devin was able to get us an electric heater that worked. The next day we needed the AC so we opened a window and turned the fan on the ac unit which was noisy. Was surprised room was not cleaned or trash emptied on any day. We enjoyed the food from the restaurant. Wish there was an ice machine since restaurant closed mondays. It was rustic with a great view! »

« Our family of 4 and two small pups enjoyed our stay! The drive was easy getting to in the dark. The house is prefect and very well organized with labels everywhere for example on the light switches. The fenced in back yard is prefect for the pups to play. We LOVED that there was no carpet! We will be back for sure!!!!! »
