"The staff were fantastic and our room was very clean. We went on a school break and our room did very little to block the hallway sounds early in the morning. I would recommend that if you are booking on a busy weekend that you stay in a room on the side of the hotel opposite to the pool."

"Clean, quiet and friendly. The bonus was the homemade ice cream shop below and the use of the laundry facilities. Lovely walk to the water just two blocks area. "

"Just outside the core of Summerside-- lovely older house converted into an inn. Modest sized room and bath on 2nd floor, nicely refurbished. Shared guest on first floor. Kinda dull surroundings outside of the heart of downtown."

"This is our second year coming to stay at Long River Retreat and the new owners Kevin and Tina are amazing people, very friendly and accommodating, we hope to be back again in the years coming! "

"The host was friendly and accommodating, but this was not a VRBO, or a B&B..this was a very nice Inn. Each room had a private bathroom. There were 2-3 other rooms rented to other guests outside of our group, the host lives on site, and there is no common area to meet (like a dining or living room) other than the narrow porch, or the next door hotel’s gazebo. The host was willing to let us use her kitchen, but that felt awkward, and the table was too small for all of us anyway. She did not...

There is a good grocery market and places to eat. We enjoyed driving to explore the North Cape area and cycled between the loft and the West Cape area and north. The hosts are friendly and kind.
