"Very clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is some sweet bread. They set out options for pillows from you to choose from. It's a healthy walking distance from Kyoto station with light luggage and the the Nishiki Market area but far enough that it's quiet. Front desk staff was nice. The kitchen and common area downstairs are clean and fine. There is one washer and one dryer and a clothesline on the roof. It seems like the management is still learning the ropes with this place so I want to...

"I stayed at Suzuki Guesthouse for three nights while visiting Kyoto. The staff is kind and help you as much as possible for any demand! There are a few nearby activities that will liven up your experience, and it's easy to get anywhere in Kyoto from Suzuki Guesthouse. Beds are very comfortable. Living room is welcoming. "The Lund House is a small simplistic hostel in a nice and quiet part of town. It is still easily accessible, however, with the closest bus being line 17 or 206 (Summer 2018). The Lund House is very small and compact, but as long as you have pleasant roommates the place feels like a wonderful home. I would gladly stay here again. And at their listed price you can't beat it!"
