"My biggest advice- take the upgrade. The Pines is the renovated version of La Jolla Coves and very modern, clean, and functional. I initially was placed in one of the regular rooms and I would have never stayed there- the room was dirty and the quality of a cheap motel. Otherwise, this property is a fantastic location and the staff was nice. When I reported the dirty room they addressed my concerns promptly and upgraded my room."
