Head skywards for 360-degree views of Niagara Falls and, on a clear day, from Lake Erie and Buffalo to Lake Ontario and Toronto.

Niagara Falls’ dominant landmark, Skylon Tower, soars 775 feet (236 meters) above the Niagara River. The panoramic view from the top is special, as is the journey to get there. A glass-front elevator sweeps you up to the indoor-outdoor observation deck and two restaurants.

The Revolving Dining Room makes a complete revolution every hour while providing guests with gourmet dining from a varied menu year-round. Lunch is served from 11:30 am to 3 p.m., and dinner from 4:30 p.m. On the same level, family-friendly fare and prices are available in the Summit Suite Buffet Dining Room. Its open in season for lunch and dinner. The Summit Suite also offers a year-round Sunday brunch.

One level up from the dining rooms, step out from the elevator directly onto the expansive indoor and outdoor observation decks.

After taking in the views from the clouds, return to the base of the tower where the whole family will enjoy Legends of Niagara Falls, a 3-D/4-D movie with special effects. Check out the nearby Family Fun Center where there are rides, interactive games and a food court. Before leaving Skylon, visit the shopping concourse with specialty shops that feature the work of Ontario artists, indigenous handcrafts, souvenirs and boutiques.

The entrance to Skylon Tower is on Murray Street, a block up from the Niagara Parkway that runs along the river. There is a charge for parking, as well as for admission to the observation deck. If you’re dining at the top, the admission fee is waived. A combo ticket for the observation deck and movie is available, and all tickets are offered at reduced prices online. The arcade and shopping concourse are open to all visitors

Great view, not the best food. My Fiance ordered a steak dinner and the steak wasn't as he asked and the veggies that came with it tasted kinda dirty he said. My beef stroganoff was good, just not spectacular. Shops in the skylon tower were great and the view from the observation deck was really great too!

Try to book hotels close to casino as this Marriott hotel is quite far and they have mentioned wrong distance details. You have to travel alot for major hotspots. Go with the hotels in the centre or just visit there directly and book directly in the hotel. Rooms are always available.

The buffet was horrible. Wait staff does nothing but still expects a tip.

*Table setting is not as in pictorial advertisement. - There are basically two circular rows of tables. If you are lucky, you get to sit by the window with clear views of the immediate surrounding otherwise you sit further in and get obstructed views. - Couples are not seated facing each other but rather at right angle to each other. *The restaurant is not as "haut de gamme" as one would expect from the highly overpriced meal menu. - The ambient temperature was too warm and not comfortable for dinner. - The food quality and service was not at par with the advertisement of “ultimate in Niagara Falls dining”.
