« I went with a group of friends and it was just the beginning of the season so we had the entire property to ourselves. All the staff were extremely friendly and nice. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. A separate shout out to Michael and Raj. Do ask for them when you visit. »

Only thing to know ahead if you like to hike is that the only way to get on hiking trails is through entering the provincial parks. It’s unsure why that is. Never heard of this. « We arrived on a Thursday when the sun was shining. We sat on the comfy chairs at the water and enjoyed the quietness of the water and area. The home is lovely inside with inviting space for many people. There are 3 areas to enjoy a meal depending on your crowd size. The beds were comfy, pillows maybe not so much, but that is a personal preference. We had 5 adults in total staying at the time. There are 3 spaces to shower, while we tended to use the ensuite shower. Would recommend the property...

It was nice to be on the river and see and hear the birds. It was also great to be a short drive from different parks and trails. « If you're looking for luxury and modern amenities, this is not for you BUT if you are looking for solitude, peace and escape from city life go for it. It is a true cabin experience, does not come with sheets. Blankets are dated so walk with your own as I am not sure how often they get laundered. The outside of the property was worth the money and overlooked the flaws of the cabin. There is no cell reception period! No two bars, one and it was on and off but it was a blessing because it forced...
