"The restaurant that is promoted in the materials you are given when you arrive make it seem to be part of the Courtyard and it is not. Arriving late and wanting room service was a hassle."

"Neat little spot in the central Keys! The grounds and layout of Captain Pips make you feel like you’re staying at a little resort! The several small buildings that house the rooms are colourful and have nice landscaping. I had some concerns the local restaurant (Porkys?) would be a dive bar, but we actually shared a great dinner and breakfast by the water there, really liked it for our family’s food needs. "We loved our stay at this villa! The view of the canal was great! The location was perfect for us. One of my favorite memories will always be coffee on the porch in the morning with family. We saw manatees almost every day in the canal. The pool was perfect! I have no complaints except you are only given 2 garbage bags for your entire stay and not enough toilet paper for a larger group. "We stayed one night on a Friday with check out Saturday. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Pet friendly was a must and it worked out well for us. Close to The Wooden Spoon cafe and their breakfast was fast and delicious. Would stay here again for sure"
