« We loved our stay at the chalet. It's perfectly situated in the cutest little neighborhood, while also feeling very secluded. The chalet had everything we needed for our stay. While visiting we walked a few of the trails nearby, part of the Valley Trail and the Hoot, Toot and Whistle. They were both perfect for our pups, especially during hunting season. We gave our pups an extra squeeze in honor of Scarlet. Thank you for sharing your place with us! We would love to stay again!! »

« My family really enjoyed this Lake House. The beautiful views of the lake were breathtaking. The house had everything we needed for preparing meals. The kitchen was functional and generally well equipped. The beds in the house were particularly comfortable. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck with perfect views of the lake. « The home is charming, immaculate and amidst woods with no neighbors in eye or earshot. It is on a dirt road, so an awd vehicle is a good idea. A stream runs along the driveway. The Ottauquechee River is across the road. The bathroom is on the first floor, and bedrooms on the second floor. The smoke detector goes off if you saute on the stove. I recommend learning how to turn off a wired in smoke detector. You should open the kitchen window when you saute, because most of the smoke detectors...

« We stayed here for the second time because I find it so enjoyable. The view is beautiful and it’s only about 15 minutes from UVM. A perfect place for a small group (if you can do stairs). It’s an older cottage with a lot of character; mismatched dishes, small stove/oven, slightly uneven floors, fun knickknacks everywhere, beautiful views of Mallett’s Bay, and lots of windows. Gordon and Beverly are super nice and easy to chat with. »
