« Such a great place to stay when checking out Waitomo. Highly recommend staying in a private room as a couple. But when we passed by the hostel type rooms, they were quite charming too. We’d love to visit again with friends and family. Great cooking facilities and even a washer/dryer. »

« We stayed here with our 2 kiddos ages 10 & 12. It was clean and cute and the kids were totally blown away by the experience of staying in a hobbit house! It definitely has a motel vibe, and the kitchenette is small, but there were some decorating touches that really added to the hobbit feel. The owners provided space heaters that were really nice to have, but the bunk room definitely developed a musty smell that we couldn’t get rid of. The property is really pretty to walk around and super close...

"DÉCEVANT!!! L’hôtel est délabré, très vieux. Pas insonorisé du tout. Dans la rue d’en bas, c’est la fête tous les soirs du week-end, les personnes crient, font du bruit avec leur voiture, des bagarres, la police, … On n’a pas dormi du tout. Dès le hall d’entrée c’est la déception. Rideaux délavés, tapis moisis, murs sales. Ça ne vaut pas du tout un 4 étoiles. C’est plutôt un motel. Il faut absolument revoir le classement de cet « hôtel ». "
