A fantastic hotel! Great location, reasonably priced. Comfortable rooms, exceptional (included) breakfast. Great coffee. The only slight glitch was the power went out in my room. I was immediately moved to another (even nicer) room so it was no major inconvenience. I would stay again for sure.

Major road works outside front door. Difficult to even find the entrance. No point in paying for a canal view since you would only see heavy equipment. Room was fine and larger than average. But so far in the back it was like navigating an escape room to reach it.

No good, to small the bed was touching the wall and the other side of the bed was the window so I can walk to my bed for that side I have to walk on my side, I requested handicap room and nothing is accessible, the main entrance has a ramp for wheelchair but it was tilted impossible to go on, I spoke to the receptionist about my request room for handicap and they tell me if I want it o if no nothing to do so I stay I have no choice.

Staff were nice and helpful. The hotel is a convenient location but currently it’s surrounding is undergoing renovations so finding it was not easy, especially at night. The hotel is an old edification, with partial elevators (there are steps up or down all over) therefore not appropriate for older folks or people with physical disabilities. Furthermore, the nicest suite offered is only accessed through a narrow and dangerous spiral stairs!!! Recommend it for the younger crowd when not physically tired.

The rooms are so spacious and the bathroom is big too. The staff are all friendly. It was quiet so didn't get much outside noise. So many bars and restaurants around it. About a 10 minute walk and you are in the main square. About a 15 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. There are lots of tram stops near by if you don't want to be walking as much.

So pleased we booked this hotel, despite reading the reviews about the building work outside which is nearly finishing From the receptionist to the staff in the breakfast room all were so warm and welcoming . Probably the best continental style breakfast in an hotel we’ve had Our group had rooms on the second, third and fifth rooms. All newly refurbished , comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms and toiletries Easy to walk to main places of interest and good resturants Excellent value Thank you
